I-RMS Africa Limited
Through our subsidiary, I-RMS Africa Limited, we have a growing presence in the strategically important East Africa region. Our offices are based in Kenya's capital city, Nairobi. We chose to base our East Africa operations in Kenya due to the country's position in the region as a focal point for commercial and political activity and as the major regional hub for logistical operations.
I-RMS Africa Limited is headed-up by Mr. Paul Humphrey Rees FCA CTA. Paul is a co-founder and chairman of I-RMS Africa Limited and has had vast experience working in the East Africa region in senior management positions for almost two decades. He held the position of Managing Director in the Kenyan office of one of the world's leading security companies for several years and is a co-founder and former chairman of the Kenyan Security Industry Association (KSIA).
I-RMS Africa Limited has consulted and provided services across a wide range of security risk areas in the region. As our reputation has grown so have opportunities to expand our consultancy and services portfolio. Our East African clients choose us because of our global experience, commitment to excellence and the strength of our management team. Following a cash-in-transit security risk consultancy project for KK Security, the region's largest security company, I-RMS was approached by our client to set up a joint venture in the region.
That joint venture company, KK LODGIT, with Paul H. Rees in the position of Managing Director, has just launched the first ever technology-based CIT service in the region.
This state-of-the-art service utilises the most advanced security features. This service has the backing of the Kenyan banking system and has been hailed as a regional 'catalyst for growth' at a recent forum of East African bankers. Building on this success, KK LODGIT will soon provide a full portfolio of technology-based CIT services in the region with the aim of becoming the market leader in this sector throughout East Africa.
Through our special relationship with KK Security in East Africa we look forward to realising new opportunities and to bringing global best practice to this growing and important market.
